This weekend is the second ever Craft Beer Calling festival taking place in the Boiler Shop, and we are proud to be supplying the event with a great range of our tasty beers. Building on a great first year, the celebration of beer from the North East and across the globe is already close to selling out. If you're heading along, make sure you check out some new beers and some classic Tyne Bank ales, we have supplied these treats for your enjoyment:
Northern Porter - Originally intended as a one-off seasonal ale, this subtly smoky dark ale has quickly become one of our most popular brews.
Green Hop IPA in keg - Brewed using the freshest possible English hops, this unfined and unfiltered keg is bursting with hop character and notes of orange peel.
Raspberry Pale - A one off batch of a light and refreshing pale ale packed with punchy raspberries. Perfect for cutting through rich food.
Simcoe Dollar - The first outing for our next special, we've treated our best selling American Pale Ale to an overdose of one of the worlds most sought after hops. Expect notes of pine and citrus fruits.
Mocha Milk Stout - Another rare beer in cask, brewed with Pumphrey's coffee, cocoa, vanilla and lactose this is luxurious beer that hides it's 6% ABV alarmingly well.
Tickets are still available for most sessions from the website, but hurry as they're selling fast. Expect a huge choice of beers from all over the UK, Europe and the US alongside the very best of the North East brewing scene. See you there!
